Daniel is a Partner in Prettys' Corporate Services department and is an expert in corporate and commercial law.
He advises business owners on a wide variety of corporate matters throughout their business journey from start-up to trade sale. These include, share and asset corporate transactions, employee ownership trust sales, management buyouts and company reorganisations. He also drafts, advises on, and negotiates a wide variety of commercial agreements (including software development and maintenance agreements, software as a service (SAAS) agreements, end user licence agreements, website terms and other technology/IT based agreements) on behalf of national and international clients. Many of those contracts are of substantial value, sensitivity and importance to his clients and involve negotiations with lawyers and companies around the world.
Daniel also works for banks and borrowers on secured lending matters, as well as advising on various intellectual property matters.
Daniel has risen swiftly up the ranks at Prettys, since starting with the firm as a trainee in September 2010, to be promoted to Partner in April 2022. He is renowned for being approachable and his collaborative, but firm, working style.
