Emma O’Shaughnessy spent twenty years in BT’s HR organisation, before leaving the organisation in 2019 to set up ARC People & Coaching Solutions.   Emma also joined Anglian Water in 2022 as a Programme Change Manager and is responsible for landing sustainable transformation programmes from a People perspective.

Emma is a Chartered CIPD member and a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council having gained her ILM 7 Executive Coaching diploma in 2019.

Emma has supported a variety of organisations and led many HR Business Partner teams over the years and can provide advice and support on a full range of transactional HR queries. She also specialises in organisation design, talent and leadership, high performing and inclusive cultures and engagement. Emma has a wide range of local and national contacts in various technical fields and enjoys connecting people who can help each other in the world of people and work.

As an ILM level 7 qualified coach, Emma focuses her practice on transition support. Recently she has been supporting leaders to step up and lead larger teams, supported senior managers through decisions on the next stages of their careers and worked with coaches on specific development areas such as imposter syndrome and personal effectiveness.

Some of her recent clients at ARC include Norwich City Council, Aviva and The Bridge Partnership.

Emma lives just outside Woodbridge with her husband and two children. She is a keen walker, cyclist and enjoys the long Suffolk summers water skiing and paddle boarding with her family and friends on the river Alde.
