– ‘Give And Take’ ...... How The IM Ecosystems Works
Over the best part of a decade [since 2012] Jim Marshall, pictured, has been involved in the IM cluster and has been responsible for directly adding 5 businesses. He is a regular speaker and contributor to the ecosystem covering topics like ‘Building & Managing High performing Teams’ or ‘Maximising Enterprise Value through Scale-up’. Those who attended the virtual event ‘Cracking the B2B Sales Code’ in the middle of The Apocalypse will know that he subscribes to Robert Cialdini’s 6 principles of persuasion. ‘Reciprocation [one of the principles] is a pillar of meaningful business relationships’, says Jim
In return for our active support of IM we receive a whole lot of support back. A recent example: when Suffolk County Council was looking for support with their Digital Content Strategy. The team at Innovation Martlesham suggested Rokker would be good partner to engage with. ‘After working our way through the Invitation to Tender process, we were selected to work on the Digital Content Strategy and make recommendations for the approach and potential technology partners’. This is what the SCC project team had to say:
‘‘We engaged Rokker to provide us with validation for our Digital Content Strategy. We were impressed with their Design Thinking Methodology; through Definition, Discovery and Ideation workshops we felt the opportunities and challenges from all our stakeholders were fully elicited and considered. Rokker were also able to draw on their network of companies (The Rokker Network) for specialist expertise when and where necessary. Perhaps most importantly, we enjoyed working with the Rokker Consultants; they were professional, well informed and a pleasure to work with. The reports and other outputs were tailored so that we could easily build the information into our internal Strategy and Business Case documents. We look forward to working with Rokker again!’
Thank you for the recommendation Innovation Martlesham!
