Innovation Martlesham company Sketchbook Games' founder Mark Backler is co-organising a video game conference called Game Anglia in Ipswich that covers all aspects of game design and development.

Mark has worked in the games industry for 11 years at Companies like EA, Sony and Lionhead on titles including Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Fable 2. He's now working on the award winning Lost Words: Beyond the Page.

Last year the first version of the Game Anglia conference was a big success and this year it looks set to be even bigger and better.

Attendees can see talks from industry legends like renowned developer Rami Ismail, voice over artist Abubakar Salim who voiced Bayek in Assassin's Creed Origins, and Improbable Chief Creative Officer Bill Roper who was formerly at Blizzard and Disney. There will also be many more amazing speakers to provide a day of informative talks and workshops.

Mark stated, "We are really excited to be putting on Game Anglia again this year as it's an excellent chance for anyone interested in game development to come and meet many different game developers and to learn about how games are made. There are very few events like this in our region so it's a great opportunity for aspiring game developers of any level."

The conference is taking place on the 10th November at the University of Suffolk. Tickets are available now. Enter the code Games4Everyone to save 20% when buying a Regular Entry ticket. More details can be found here: http://gameanglia.co.uk
