Innovation Martlesham company Interact led inaugural Diversity and Inclusion remote workshop last month.
Hosted by BT’s Research & Network Strategy Operations and Engagement Lead Lisa Ford and led by green tech Interact’s Head of Sustainability Astrid Wynne, the forum was attended by representatives from across BT and Innovation Martlesham.
The first workshop featured a wide-ranging discussion in which attendees shared where they were in their D&I journeys and the challenges they faced. Subjects such as data collection and banding were raised, as well as what D&I standards already exist to tell us what good looks like.
The next steps are for attendees to choose one of their D&I challenges and to set targets against it.
If you’re a ‘woman in tech’, why not join Adastral Park Women in Tech Network? Based at Adastral Park in Suffolk, the network supports and celebrates women and minority genders in STEM.
